As a key member of our team, the Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Answer emails and phone calls promptly and handle inquiries professionally.
  • Advise patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
  • Manage billing procedures for private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA clients.
  • Collaborate with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be trained as a contact centre agent, enabling them to provide additional support as required:

  • Answer phone calls promptly and handle inquiries professionally.
  • Multi-task across platforms and manage the appointment calendar.
What We're Looking For
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
  • Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
  • Availability to work Saturday shifts every 6 weeks - either 9am-12pm or 8am-11am.
