Senior Medical Imaging Manager

This leadership role is designed for a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist or Radiographer with expertise in medical imaging services delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily operations of medical imaging services to ensure seamless service delivery 24/7.
- Oversight of staff rostering and training initiatives to enhance team performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior professionals to contribute to departmental planning, policy development and strategic direction.
- Leadership in quality improvement and assurance programs to maintain compliance with national standards and accreditation requirements.
- Act as the Radiation Safety Officer, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Participation in talent management programs to recruit, select and develop high-performing imaging personnel.
- A tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging and eligibility for registration with relevant professional bodies.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in specialized imaging modalities, including MRI, CT and X-ray.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with quality systems, radiology accreditation and legislative requirements.
- Current C Class driver's licence or equivalent required.
