**Job Title:** Data & Systems Developer - Python

We are seeking a collaborative, self-motivated, and experienced developer to join our team as the Data & Systems Developer (Python).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with architects, technical leads, testers, product owners, and analysts in an Agile environment to contribute to the solution development process.
  • Develop real-time and polling interfaces between systems and the data lake using various integration techniques.
  • Support DevOps practices, including CI/CD processes and tools, to ensure smooth software delivery.
  • Assess and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures.
  • Investigate causes of incidents and seek resolution.
  • Evaluate potential solutions to resolve issues.
  • Document and close resolved incidents according to agreed procedures.

Requirements:

  • A formal qualification in Information Technology or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated capability to effectively interact with leaders across the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Experience developing data manipulation solutions in Python, and associated libraries such as Pandas and GeoPandas.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, integration, and mocking.
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies and skills as required.
  • Knowledge/experience within the Health or Aviation industry is advantageous but not essential.
