We are seeking a highly skilled Key Performance Reporting Analyst to join our performance reporting team at Rest, one of Australia's largest profit-to-member superannuation funds.

About the Role

The Senior Analyst role is a key position within our performance reporting team, responsible for measuring and reporting the performance and attribution of REST's multiple investment strategies. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the manager to build the operating framework, including people, processes, and systems to enable performance reporting function.

You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely performance reports to external stakeholders, including regulators, survey/ratings houses, as well as internal member communications teams. Additionally, you will proactively monitor regulatory developments related to Rest's published performance results and produce associated commentary and analysis.

As a key stakeholder in our performance reporting process, you will be expected to develop and maintain the Whole of Fund attribution model, provide training, and identify sources of outperformance or underperformance, providing insights to key stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant tertiary or technical qualifications in Commerce, Mathematics, Information Management, Finance, or a related field. You must also have proven experience in an analytics, risk, or performance reporting function within investment organisations or other related organisations.

Your expertise in standard performance calculation methodologies, knowledge of standard derivative financial instruments, and ability to interpret performance attribution results will be highly valued. Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and high-level numerical literacy are essential for this role.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate excellent stakeholder communication, engagement, and influencing skills, ranging from C-suite to analyst positions. Your ability to lead change initiatives, deliver on results, and contribute to the design and ongoing validation of external manager Performance fee models will also be important assets.
