Database Administrator Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our organization. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing database environments using PostGres and/or MS-SQL DB technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure availability and performance of the database environment.
  • Manage non-production, production, and disaster recovery database environments.
  • Collaborate with support teams to optimize hardware resources.
  • Proactively monitor to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct trend analysis for capacity planning.
  • Implement enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for change management.
  • Analyze hardware issues before contacting support.
  • Follow Change Control procedures for system and application changes.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks for HA and DR tests and execute them.
