Job Overview

  • Main Responsibilities
    • Develop and deliver timely, high-quality written correspondence, briefings, and other material;
    • Provide accurate advice and support to management, the executive team, and key stakeholders;
    • Collect, collate, and analyze information on a range of matters to ensure that advice, reports, analysis, briefings, and correspondence provided are current and accurate;
    • Contribute to reporting, including on the status of key projects, issues, and processes across the business;
    • Monitor, implement, and evaluate administrative practices, systems, and procedures within the team;
    • Prepare guidelines and procedures for the preparation and management of correspondence, briefings, and Parliamentary processes;
  • Key Skills and Qualifications
    • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of initiatives and issues to enable response to a range of matters;
    • Collecting and collating information from a range of sources to support the gathering of accurate and complete information;
    • Completing work to agreed timeframes and standards in an environment characterized by competing priorities, high expectations, and tight deadlines;
    • Exercising judgement, discretion, and confidentiality in liaising with staff of the Minister, ministerial offices, other government agencies, and a range of stakeholders;
