About the Opportunity

This position plays a vital role in ensuring our social licence to operate through effective communication with stakeholders. It requires an experienced communications professional who can collaborate across the enterprise and business teams.

The Communications Manager will be responsible for implementing AP's positions and decisions, building relationships at all levels of the business, and delivering on the Communications strategy. This includes thinking about strategic initiatives that will improve communication for our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Briefs, messaging, and presentations as needed to support key enterprise projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the wider Communications team to ensure consistency of business messages and alignment with enterprise-wide programs.

This role requires a strong focus on building trusted relationships with leaders across the business, developing creative and compelling content, and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

What We're Looking For
  • 6+ years' experience as a communications professional in a large, complex, and highly regulated environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications or a related field.
  • Exceptional organisation skills to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Project management skills to ensure efficient planning, execution, and evaluation of large-scale programs.
