We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Services Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality healthcare services at Western Plains Correctional Centre.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in managing clinical governance and risk management in a healthcare setting. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing strategic direction and leadership for the healthcare service

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve service quality and patient safety

The successful candidate will have:

  • A postgraduate qualification in health or health service management
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a registered nurse
  • Demonstrated experience in leading clinical governance and risk management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
