About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Scientific Officer to join our team at Healius in Strathfield, NSW.

The successful candidate will have a Medical Laboratory Science degree from a recognized Australian institution and possess excellent knowledge in Transfusion, with Haematology and/or Biochemistry being highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently test specimens
  • Contribute to quality assurance and instrumentation
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7 roster including weekends, overnight shifts, and on-call duties
Requirements
  • A Medical Laboratory Science degree from a recognized Australian institution
  • Knowledge in Transfusion is essential; Haematology and/or Biochemistry is highly desirable
  • Experience in a pathology laboratory is highly desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
