Key Responsibilities- Empower young people to make informed life choices and develop positive relationships.
- Assist with daily routines, including domestic tasks, shopping, and meal preparation.
- Engage and communicate effectively with young people, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
- Administer medication and implement behavior support plans as required.
- Write detailed and accurate daily shift notes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Hold a full QLD Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle.
- Current Working with Children's Check and comprehensive car insurance.
- 6 months of paid and recent experience as a Youth Support Worker in a residential setting.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate, as well as Medicare evidence of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Minimum Cert IV in Youth Support or Diploma of Community Services.
- Current availability to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
