Job Title: Maritime Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maritime Security Officer to join our team at DP World. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our maritime operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control access to our maritime zone, ensuring compliance with MTOFSA regulations.
  • Monitor and respond to alarms generated by access systems, fire systems, and CCTV systems.
  • Conduct regular patrols and administer building patrols, locking and unlocking doors and gates as required.
  • Provide daily communications diary, event logs, incident reports, and breach reports.
  • Identify and prevent illegal and/or inappropriate behavior, reporting any security risks to the client contact and supervisor.
  • Respond to on-site medical emergencies and perform first aid as required.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate II in Security Operations.
  • Current and applicable Security license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
  • Occupational First Aid.
  • Current Valid driving license.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Previous CCTV monitoring experience highly regarded.
  • Ability and experience writing detailed incident reports.
  • Experience using access control systems.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
