Job Summary

This role focuses on ensuring product and process quality through microbiological and analytical testing, adhering to site standards and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Conduct microbiological sampling and testing according to the testing schedule and environmental sampling program.
  2. Perform day-to-day laboratory testing of finished goods, semi-finished goods, and materials.
  3. Carry out analytical testing of cleaning chemicals on-site.
  4. Collect finished goods samples from 3rd-party warehouses.
  5. Maintain retention samples.
  6. Manage document archival programs, including liaising with external services.
  7. Conduct GMP inspections on production floors.
  8. Oversee consumable inventories by conducting stock takes and managing purchase orders.
  9. Ensure calibration and validation of lab equipment (scales, autoclave, FOSS equipment, and other analytical equipment).
  10. Support operations teams in analytical testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess relevant qualification in Food Science/Microbiology or related science.
  • Hold QC experience in food manufacturing/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Be proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Prior experience in HACCP is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrate high problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hold a current driving license.
