Product Quality Assurance Specialist

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality products by defining, developing, and executing processes that ensure reliability and performance.

  • The successful candidate will work with various stakeholders to identify and implement quality improvements.">
  • They will lead supplier quality assurance activities, including supplier development, qualification, and ongoing verification.">
  • Additionally, they will propose and develop quality assurance policies and procedures to support certification standards.">
  • Key responsibilities include working in a modern manufacturing environment, leading material review boards, and supporting internal and external audits.">
  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality in aerospace/defense/maritime industries.">
  • They should possess working knowledge of design review and quality management of PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion systems, and welding.">
  • Experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization is also required.">
  • Furthermore, the candidate should have working knowledge of product development methodologies such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements, MSA, and GD&T.">
  • A strong ownership mindset, analytical skills, and ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance are necessary for success in this role.">

      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field.">
      • Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense/maritime or similar hardware.">
      • Working knowledge of design review and quality management of PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion systems and welding.">
      • Experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization.">
      • Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements such as Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).">
      • Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes.">
      • A strong ownership mindset with demonstrated capability to drive projects from start to completion.">
      • Analytical skills and experiences for data mining, data quality, metrics generation, issue management systems, and statistical analysis tools.">
      • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.">
