Job Description

We're seeking an experienced High-Performance Testing Specialist to lead our performance testing efforts in projects/programs within BUPA Technology. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for planning, organising and conducting performance testing by adhering to established standards, goals, and test processes.

Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing performance test strategies in agile environments, ensuring seamless integration with project delivery. You'll also be responsible for:

  • Analysing requirements, user stories, and solution design documents to produce detailed test plans and cases for performance testing
  • Creating performance and load scripts using LoadRunner, Jmeter, and other performance testing tools
  • Executing performance test cases, documenting results, and identifying performance issues
  • Presenting performance defects and findings in defect triage meetings and providing input for remediation

You'll collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Prior experience working in an agile development environment and a good understanding of agile ceremonies and processes
  • Experience working in large-scale and complex environments with the ability to adapt to changing project priorities and conflicting schedules
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in performance testing
  • Hands-on experience working with LoadRunner/Jmeter
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with protocols such as https/http, Citrix, RTE, and Truclient
  • Good understanding of CI/CD and proficiency in cloud-based solutions
