Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal part in steering the transition to a renewable energy-based system. This opportunity offers a chance to work on large-scale infrastructure projects and gain exposure to various areas of law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and reviewing contracts for infrastructure projects is a key aspect of this role.
  • You will provide assistance with project frameworks and risk management approaches.
  • Managing external lawyers and serving as a trusted advisor to the business and project teams.
  • Offering generalist advice on planning, environment, construction, and employment law.
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and educating the business on their impact.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Must be admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in major projects, infrastructure, construction, and/or energy.
  • Strong commercial drafting, reviewing, and negotiating skills are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
