Insurance Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our Casualty team as an Assistant Underwriter.

This role will involve supporting a team of Underwriters in all tasks related to underwriting, administration, and management of online portal referrals.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Underwriters to support them in their activities associated with renewal portfolios, data quality assurance, and continuous development of best practices for the business.

  • Assist Underwriters and Senior Underwriters with renewal portfolios, including pre-renewal notices, conducting research, and pre-underwriting.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the Casualty team.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Maintain policy records across the full suite of products and have a comprehensive understanding of the online quote portal and systems/processes.
  • Prepare monthly reports and provide credit control assistance when required.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders within AXA XL and the broader group, claims, actuary, and middle office.
  • Adhere to Underwriting guidelines and service standards.
  • Promote a collaborative work culture with an unwavering commitment to teamwork and team success.
