The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Inventory Manager to ensure the efficient purchasing and control of inventory. This is a Monday-to-Friday role, with no weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including accurate stock levels and locations.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to source the correct parts to meet workshop repair priorities.
  • Arrange the transfer, dispatch, and delivery of inventory as needed to meet repair priorities.
  • Process and monitor purchase orders for the supply and replenishment of inventory.
  • Receive and issue stock in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist with stocktake preparations and participate in stocktakes.
  • Monitor warehouse Key Performance Indicators, such as stock value, negative stock, and open purchase orders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a spare parts or store environment.
  • Knowledge of heavy commercial parts is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to follow procedural guidelines.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proven customer service skills.
