Senior Dessert Craftsman

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Dessert Craftsman to join our team at Lancemore Lindenderry Red Hill. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $73,000 - $75,000 per year, plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine pastry recipes, experimenting with new ingredients and techniques to create innovative desserts.
- Oversee the preparation and assembly of desserts across the pastry section, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Inspect equipment and premises for cleanliness before production runs, adhering to occupational health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery/Patisserie or higher qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, preferably in an a la carte hotel restaurant or functions kitchen.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong creative approach to providing high-quality desserts, with a focus on presentation and flavour.
- A thorough understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
- Availability to participate in a 7-day working roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as autonomously when required.
