Design and Finishing Trades Educator

We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our team in delivering high-quality education and training to students across various disciplines.

About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our students. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies, creating high-impact learning resources, and collaborating with industry partners to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging teaching and learning strategies that cater to diverse student needs
  • Create high-quality teaching resources and assessment materials
  • Participate in the delivery of teaching and educational services to industry, including workplace visits, assessment of training needs, development of training plans, and the effective delivery of courses
  • Provide pre-course advice to students and participate in student selection, induction, and marketing events
Requirements
  • An approved degree, diploma, or certificate in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed;
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40122 or TAE40116 or TAE40110) or its successor;
  • An approved diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training;
  • A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials: TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set, or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor, or TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor;
  • Current licences necessary to practice, or registration and/or membership of a relevant industry association where applicable.
