Clinical Nurse Educator Role

As a key figure in the healthcare team, you will play a vital role in developing the skills of staff within the Respiratory Ward. This dynamic position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in patient care.

The ideal candidate will have current nursing registration with the relevant authority and relevant post-registration experience in the specialty.

Key responsibilities include providing clinical development/training to staff, fostering a preceptor/mentor role, formulating and evaluating unit-based educational programs, and contributing to improvement of health service delivery.

You will be instrumental in building the capacity of individuals to deliver safe, evidence-based care and foster a patient-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and clinical development/training to staff
  • Formulate, coordinate, and evaluate unit-based educational programs
  • Apply participation methodology to build capacity for safe, evidence-based care
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Current nursing registration with the relevant authority
  • Relevant post-registration experience in the specialty
  • Qualifications in teaching methodologies or equivalent education and clinical experience
