Fitter Maintenance Technician

**Key Responsibilities**
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Enfield site.
As a Maintenance Fitter, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing daily servicing, repairs, and maintenance of plant and equipment as scheduled and planned by the Maintenance Planner.
- Recording history, booking hours, spares usage, and closing out work orders in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), currently Mex.
- Participating in plant improvements and projects.
- Working safely by having a proactive safety attitude, applying awareness, risk assessment practices, and following company processes such as LOTO, permits, etc.
- Carrying out planned maintenance as scheduled by the Site Maintenance Planner using sound engineering practices and experience gained in a manufacturing facility.
- Assisting other team members as required, particularly when the work requires two people, fabrication (hot work), or heavy-duty mechanical skills.
- Responding to all breakdown calls during the shift, evaluating the cause, and implementing the best solution to rectify the breakdown. You must be able to work well with production staff and peers to prioritize actions and implement solutions.
- Performing minor electrical tasks, such as disconnects - reconnects, resets, in line with relevant electrical qualifications, if applicable.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will be required to possess:
- A relevant trade qualification, for example, Mechanical Fitter & Turner.
- A restricted Electrical license (desirable).
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing, and maintaining Feed Milling/Flour Milling equipment (preferred).
- Experience using CMMS.
- Strong communication skills with an all-inclusive approach to dealing with peers and operations personnel at all levels in the business.
- Pneumatic transfer systems.
- Fabrication in a processing environment.
- Confined space training and experience.
