About the Role

Mercer is seeking a talented Compensation Specialist to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key member of our compensation team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality products and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the project management, survey design, and administration of the salary survey process.
  • Write commentary associated with survey results.
  • Undertake statistical analysis and interpretation.
  • Prepare large volumes of data for uploading into survey analysis and reporting software.
  • Validate survey data with clients.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external clients.
  • Respond to client queries regarding products, services, and solutions.
  • Develop skills and competencies in order to project manage smaller surveys.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Statistics, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, advanced knowledge of Excel, SPSS, or other statistical package, and familiarity with email and web browser technology.
  • Capacity to acquire competence in the use of in-house applications.
  • High level of numeric skills and capacity to attend to detail.
