Security Guard

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team in Brisbane. As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol industrial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances, ensuring safety and security at all times
- Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Report activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Collaborate with emergency services, ensuring a swift and coordinated response in times of need
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property, creating a safe and welcoming environment
- Efficiently manage vehicle movements both inwards and outwards, maintaining traffic flow and security
- Previous experience in Security Guarding
- Hold a valid Queensland Security Licence
- Have a clean criminal record
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment
- Display excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Be trustworthy, punctual, and reliable
- Display common sense & initiative
