Main Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality physics lessons to students in Years 11 - 12, and IGCSE Physics to students in Years 9 and 10.
- Create engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of core scientific principles.
- Employ a range of pedagogical strategies to differentiate instruction and meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Utilise modern educational technologies and laboratory equipment to enhance teaching and learning, ensuring a hands-on, practical approach to the subject.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A relevant university degree and teaching qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Physics at a secondary level, with a proven history of achieving strong academic results.
- In-depth knowledge of the curriculum, including an understanding of its pedagogical requirements and assessment strategies.
