Parks Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Parks Maintenance Technician I to join our team.

This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Available schedules include:

  • 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
  • 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Work days are Tuesday through Saturday, with Sundays off.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide general care and maintenance to buildings, grounds, and parks.
  • Cut and edge grass as needed.
  • Operate hand and power tools for various tasks.
  • Sweep walks, remove refuse and trash, clean buildings, picnics, restrooms, and camping areas.
  • Assist in skilled trades such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, and help with installations and repairs.
  • Load and unload heavy materials from trucks and other equipment.
  • Perform related work as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three months of experience in grounds and building maintenance.
  • Experience in mechanical or equipment repair is preferred.

A valid driver's license, passing a drug test, and background screening are mandatory requirements.
