Job Description

We are seeking a Soil Expert Lead to deliver high-quality project outcomes for clients. The successful candidate will possess expertise in conducting detailed soil surveys, including soil sampling, mapping, and classification according to the Australian Soil Classification system.

The role involves working beside the team across Australia, which includes over 25 technical disciplines. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication, project management, and technical expertise.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Delivery: Deliver high-quality project outcomes for clients with a focus on quality and excellence.
  2. Technical Expertise: Conduct detailed soil surveys, including soil sampling, mapping, and classification according to the Australian Soil Classification system.
  3. Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, project management, and technical expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A professional qualification in environmental science or engineering or other relevant degree.
  • 10-15+ years' experience at a professional level, ideally in consulting.
  • Expertise in interpreting and analysing soil properties such as texture, structure, pH, salinity, nutrient levels, and organic matter content.
