Trainee Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Trainee Educator to support the early learning journey of our children.

As a Trainee Educator, you will work collaboratively with our Centre Leadership Team and Educators to deliver high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, families, and team members
  • Complying with National Quality Standards (NQS) and relevant policies, procedures, and requirements
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and their families
  • Contributing to the development of educational programs and centre initiatives
  • Supporting ongoing continuous improvement and reflective practice within the centre team
  • Participating in a professional and positive work culture

To be eligible for this traineeship, you cannot hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. You may still be eligible if you have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare.

Requirements:

  • A permanent right to work in Australia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards education and child development
  • Flexible availability and commitment to working hours
  • Interest in early childhood education and care
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status - three doses
  • Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella & Whooping Cough (Pertussis) or willingness to obtain.
