Job Opportunity: Machine Learning and Decision Making Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our research team in the field of machine learning and decision making. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that involve extensively applied work at the intersection of data fusion, decision making and machine learning.

The successful applicant will be working on decision making for anomaly detection, behaviour analysis and surveillance decisions under the direction of a renowned expert in the field. This position will involve collaboration with researchers and engineers who share broad goals in decision making in contested and dynamic environments, data fusion, multi-agent reinforcement learning, and secure and robust machine learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on developing and implementing machine learning algorithms for decision making tasks
  • Collaborate with researchers and engineers to design and implement user interfaces that enable effective operator control and monitoring of drones

Requirements:

  • Excellent industry experience in computer science, data science or (applied) machine learning, decision making, and other closely related areas
  • Demonstrated expertise in setting up pipelines for artificial intelligence and/or machine learning techniques used for decision making, in particular behavior analysis techniques
  • Demonstrated expertise in data science and data fusion
  • A relevant first degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Expertise and experience in computer programming, especially in Python and C++
