Job Opportunity: Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

As a Personal Banker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service that reflects the bank's core values and customer ownership strategy.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team at a local customer-owned banking institution. You will be working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment where you can thrive and achieve individual performance goals that contribute to the branch's success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a tailored banking experience to new and existing customers
  • Connecting customer needs to the bank's offerings through excellent listening skills
  • Completing lending accreditation programs to assist members with their personal and home lending needs
  • Managing general enquiries and providing sound advice and information to customers
  • Contributing to a high-achieving team environment with your commitment to success and strong work ethic
  • Managing customer bank accounts, including opening, closing, and overseeing transactions
  • Collaborating with specialists in the business to deliver solutions that meet customer needs
  • Supporting customers by providing lending solutions, such as personal loans, credit cards, and home loans, ensuring they fully understand the product features, benefits, fees, charges, and overall value
Qualifications and Skills Required

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Resilience, drive, and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers
  • Able to work in a dynamic customer service environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to provide effective solutions to customers
  • Banking or financial services experience is desirable but not essential
