The Opportunity
As a Category Lead and Client Partnerships Strategist, you'll be part of a high-performing sales team, driving revenue growth across a category by engaging with new and existing clients. You'll work closely with Client Partnership Managers and direct reports to meet clients' key business strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets for categories within your area of responsibility
- Manage a team to build and grow revenue streams from a portfolio of existing and new business clients
- Provide regular business reporting, including accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management for allocated categories
- Protect and grow existing trade revenue while winning new revenue from clients' marketing spend budgets
- Maintain regular meetings with direct reports to discuss strengths, areas for development, and alignment with company objectives
- Engage with senior contacts in your category, building strong business relationships and ensuring understanding of clients' key strategies
- Embed yourself in the Woolworths commercial team to ensure Cartology sales activity aligns with Woolworths marketing strategy and buyer category plans
- Manage pricing (discounts and bundling) in line with agreed parameters set in Cartology's sales plan
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need significant experience in multi-channel media sales, including shopper customers as media end recipients. You'll have a proven track record of growing multi-channel media sales to various client types.
You'll also be skilled in selling digital media based on target audience characteristics, managing campaigns leveraging coordinated media inventory, and demonstrating Return on Investment to drive repeat business.
Additionally, you'll have a strong ability to form relationships with Creative Agencies through targeted Business Development.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. You'll also enjoy a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and a dynamic, inclusive work environment.
