Cloud Engineering Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Application Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, building, and managing applications across cloud, OT/Edge, and research computing environments.

The successful candidate will possess strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript, as well as proficiency in AWS cloud and cloud-native services. They will also have hands-on expertise with data-intensive and high-performance computing applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build applications across cloud, OT/Edge, and research computing environments
  • Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes
  • Develop and integrate APIs
  • Maintain infrastructure using Terraform
  • Build automated DevOps workflows and release processes
Required Skills:
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS
  • Strong understanding of API development and integration
  • Hands-on experience with data-intensive and high-performance computing applications
  • Proficiency in Python and TypeScript programming languages
  • Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Knowledge of containerization for research applications
Bonus Skills:
  • Familiarity with open-source observability platforms
  • Understanding of application security best practices
  • Experience working in scientific computing environments and workflows
