Job Opportunity

The External Warranty Coordinator is a key role in ensuring timely and accurate warranty claims are processed, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop advanced knowledge of warranty policies and procedures to facilitate successful claim submissions.
  • Utilize enterprise systems such as JDE and MS Project to track claims and manage workflows efficiently.
  • Interpret technical documents and bulletins to ensure accurate claim development and troubleshooting.
  • Manage external warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
  • Investigate and resolve complex or disputed warranty issues, ensuring accurate repair order costings.
  • Maintain up-to-date warranty documentation, including technical bulletins, correspondence, and claim history.
  • Prepare warranty performance reports, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Represent warranty insights in supplier/vendor performance reviews and meetings.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a warranty and/or maintenance management role.
  • Mechanical trade qualifications and experience in external repair and warranty functions.
  • Exposure to maintenance management and expertise in truck rebuilds, component repair, and cost analysis.
  • Strong technical knowledge of OTR components, diagnostics, and manufacturer warranty policies.
  • Proficiency in enterprise systems like JDE and MS Project, as well as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • A collaborative mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive approach to driving efficiency and improvement.
