About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Labour Solutions Australia. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of our filling systems, DA production systems, cylinder assets, buildings, and grounds mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality service on time, to budget, and regulatory standards.
  • Continuously review service with production to ensure safe and high-quality services and meet or exceed agreed obligations.
  • Implement global initiatives, including technology, process, and people competency to deliver excellent services to Production.
  • Increase Maintenance efficiencies to agreed targets for Cost and Service.

Requirements:

  • Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate.
  • Confined Space, Working at Heights, and Forklift Licence highly desirable.
  • Experience in Gas related industry advantageous.
  • Experience with compressors, pumps, and high-pressure gas reticulation systems.
  • Drivers Licence and reliable transport.
  • Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
  • Working Knowledge of Australian standards, ability to understand codes of practice and other regulatory codes of the trade.
  • Ability to work both part of a team and autonomously where required.
  • Strong communication skills and leadership qualities.
