Maintenance Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at DuluxGroup's Rocklea manufacturing facility. As a key member of our site operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and machinery.
The successful candidate will have a trade certificate in Fitter and Turner and possess excellent welding skills, proficient in Lathe and Milling operations. Experience in Hydraulics & Pneumatics, motor gearboxes, and pumps will be highly regarded. Additionally, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and participate in site improvement projects.
- Identify and troubleshoot plant equipment issues, providing sustainable solutions and communicating with stakeholders.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving to identify and resolve site deviations.
- Respond to breakdown situations to repair plant equipment as required by management.
- Maintain accurate registers, logs, and systems to track repairs, notifications, and work activities.
