The Assistant Principal is a key leadership position responsible for supporting the school principal in educational leadership, management and administration.
This role involves collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure high-quality education for students. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in curriculum implementation and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:- Curriculum Implementation: Provide guidance and support to teachers on curriculum implementation and assessment.
- Student Learning and Wellbeing: Contribute to school-wide initiatives and projects that promote student learning and wellbeing.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and the broader community.
- A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
- Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
