We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ancillary Assistant to join our Support Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a safe, efficient, and least disruptive transfer of patients and equipment within the hospital. Job Description

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and staff.

You will operate as part of our non-clinical services team, taking direction from relevant ward staff and non-clinical support services coordinators/supervisors. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the provision of ancillary services such as cleaning, car parking, and fleet management, waste management, gardens and grounds, distribution, security and access control, ward support, linen services, and food services.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to maintain a high level of customer service at all times, ensuring that our patients and staff receive the best possible care and attention.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A background or experience in waste management is essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
