Job Description

The role of a Skilled Scaffolding Labourer involves assisting in the construction of scaffolding systems for various projects. This includes setting up, maintaining and dismantling scaffolding structures as per safety guidelines and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of scaffolding systems to ensure optimal structural integrity and stability.
  • Work at heights using safe climbing practices and equipment, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Verify that all scaffolding is built and maintained in accordance with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Support a positive and collaborative team culture by providing assistance and guidance to colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent) to demonstrate expertise and proficiency in scaffolding.
  • Experience working at heights and with scaffolding systems, showcasing adaptability and resilience under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a proactive approach to mitigating risks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to foster collaboration and open communication within the team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project demands and priorities while maintaining focus on quality and efficiency.
