Job Title:

Freelance Peer Reviewer - Cardiothoracic Surgery

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced researchers, retired researchers, and former researchers to perform peer reviews for journals and publishers.

As a freelance peer reviewer, you will assess manuscript originality and contribution to the field. You will review study design and methodology for accuracy and reproducibility, evaluate literature review for relevance and currency, analyze results and conclusions for clarity and support, provide constructive feedback and ethical considerations, and recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent in the relevant field
  2. At least two publications in the last two years
  3. Understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles
  4. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
  5. Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality
  6. Prior peer review experience is preferred
