About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Specialist to join our Projects and Commercial Advisory team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising clients on the design, development, and implementation of contracts for major infrastructure projects, Defence projects, and long-term services-based contracts for utilities and transport operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on contract design, development, and implementation for major infrastructure projects and Defence projects.
  • Work closely with our adjacent legal services teams and broader risk advisory and Ashurst Advance practices to deliver high-quality, value-adding services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of services.
  • Contribute to the development of our Projects and Commercial Advisory team and broader Risk Advisory division, helping to shape our strategy, culture, and processes.
About You
  • You have 2-5 years of specialized contracts management and/or audit experience, ideally within an infrastructure environment.
  • Experience in the infrastructure, projects, or property industry is essential.
  • You're a self-starter who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment that is always evolving and requires you to be proactive, adaptable, and humble.
  • You have proven experience delivering high-quality work for clients and stakeholders in line with expectations and deadlines.
  • You're confident in autonomously finding solutions to a range of problems, especially those related to risk management, in a commercial and client-focused way.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • You have experience providing the highest quality service to clients and fostering professional and commercial relationships with a range of stakeholders.
