Job Title: Senior Contracts Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Specialist to join our team at Civeo. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support in contract management, negotiation, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and draft procurement contracts based on internal and supplier templates, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Negotiate contract terms with suppliers and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Maintain and manage contract data, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Provide guidance on contract-related issues to internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in contract management processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contracts and procedures, ensuring best practices.
  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and leadership to peers and/or other team members, promoting a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, or commerce.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working within the procurement or legal industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare contracts and drive contract management processes, delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate into business outcomes.
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
