Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of a leading commercial contractor project in Wollongong.

This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols on the construction site. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, coordinating schedules, and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the build process.

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate activities on the construction site.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Supervise subcontractors and tradespeople, monitoring their performance and quality of work.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of construction activities, progress reports, and documentation.
Requirements:

Key qualifications for this role include proven experience as a Site Manager or similar position in the construction industry, preferably with new build commercial experience.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Solid knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Prior experience using Procore and Hammertech is highly desirable.
  • A valid construction induction card (White Card) and relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are essential.
