Chief Information Security Officer

This role is a key position within the organisation, responsible for leading the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in achieving ISO 27001 accreditation and driving continuous improvement in information security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify gaps in information security and recommend strategies for mitigation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that information security requirements are met and that they understand their responsibilities in this area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in gaining ISO 27001 accreditation with other organisations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change and improve information security practices.
- Experience working with audit schedules and performing risk assessments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate technical and non-technical stakeholders on information security requirements.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
