We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Automation Technician to join our team at Jack Link's Protein Snacks. As a key member of our production support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated machines and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues with equipment and systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring production continuity.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards, and that all equipment and systems are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to production staff on equipment operation and maintenance, and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
- Education: Some college-level training in electronics technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or production support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to machinery and equipment. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a climate-controlled building is also required.
