Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our team as an In-House Counsel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our clients across a range of commercial and corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on commercial and corporate matters
  • Assist with the preparation and negotiation of commercial agreements
  • Conduct research and analysis on legal issues and provide recommendations to clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in law and regulation and provide advice to clients accordingly

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of post-qualification experience as a commercial/corporate lawyer
  • Proven ability to understand and interpret legislation, particularly in relation to competition and consumer law, Privacy Act, IP, WHS and Corporations law
  • Strong legal drafting and research skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
