About the Role:

This leadership position at DreamWorld's SkyPoint venue is responsible for overseeing Food & Beverage operations to deliver high-quality service and offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and hands-on leadership to motivate the front-line team to excel.
  • Develop team performance, including customer service, guest experience, and achieving sales targets.
  • Conduct on-the-job employee training, coaching, performance management, and mentoring.
  • Maintain optimum daily staffing levels and control departmental costs within budgets.
  • Ensure exceptional service and efficiency while maintaining high standards of product quality and presentation.
  • Identify and implement continual improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures and support training documentation.
  • Support management in processes such as recruitment, stocktake, new initiatives, and rostering.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a similar high-volume customer service/hospitality environment.
  • Ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor, and develop teams at the front line.
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Passion for delivering an outstanding guest service experience and maintaining a positive service culture.
  • Previous experience working to wage and COGS budgets, driving sales through sales-based initiatives.
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and ability to work across bar, food, and guest service operations.
  • Exemplary communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with POS database systems and competent cash handling/management abilities.
