Mental Health Services Team Lead

As a key figure in our Mental Health Care Program (MHCP), you will utilize your clinical expertise to coordinate high-quality care delivery in a dedicated unit or team. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a positive work culture and enhancing team performance, while focusing on achieving exceptional consumer outcomes.
You will accept accountability for the outcomes of nursing practices and multidisciplinary efforts, actively addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy. By upholding the principles of the National Mental Health Policy and the Standards for Mental Health Services, you will guide and develop less experienced staff, ensuring that high-quality care aligns with our quality framework.

About You- Qualified Mental Health Professional – Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a qualification equivalent to a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.
- Strong Leadership & Communication Skills – Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Innovative Care Model Developer – Experience in reviewing and enhancing person- and family-centred care models, with a commitment to consumer and carer participation.
- Experienced Mentor & Change Leader – Minimum three years' post-registration experience, with demonstrated competence in leadership roles and the supervision of less experienced staff.
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct. We also deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at various locations across the metropolitan and regional areas.
