Student Success Role Overview

This Student Success role is responsible for providing proactive front-facing student support across the coursework student lifecycle from onboarding to graduation. The successful candidate will deliver holistic student case management in line with developing a proactive student-centric service culture focusing on increased student retention, engagement and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver front-facing student support across the coursework student lifecycle from onboarding to graduation.
  • Provide cohort/discipline-specific support and engagement, degree pathway advice, and program/course advice.
  • Offer student counselling and consultation and contribute to retention/engagement activities that support student success.
  • Support graduation processes and completions for students.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of actively contributing to the development of, and working effectively as part of a high performing team.
  • Proven ability to champion a workplace culture defined by positivity, adaptability, energy, and the delivery of results.
  • Previous experience in the provision of front-facing student advice in a tertiary education environment, including interpretation, application and customisation of complex rules and policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner and to work collaboratively to deliver student-centric results.
