Project Officer Role OverviewThe role involves undertaking specialist activities to deliver educational projects in the regulatory domain.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide project management and support services, including report preparation and resource coordination, to ensure education project outcomes are achieved.
    • Maintain documentation for reporting, monitoring, and evaluation purposes to ensure quality information is accessible and contributes to NSW outcomes and effective decision-making.
    • Undertake research, evaluation, and analysis to identify emerging issues and provide recommendations to resolve policy or process issues and inform NSW education activities.
    • Communicate with stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees, and consultations to facilitate information exchange and support policy and legislative requirements for NSW activities.
    • Deliver education improvement projects to ensure increased dam owner compliance with dam safety requirements.
    • Support audits of declared management systems.
  • Key Knowledge and Experience:
    • Experience in implementing innovative and best practice regulatory education programs.
    • Demonstrated understanding of the legislative framework for dam safety in NSW.
