Job SummaryThe Medical Care Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team, assisting with patient consultations, supporting physical examinations, and providing care and support for patients with various illnesses and conditions.
About the Role- Assist with patient consultations in hospitals, clinics, and community health centers
- Support physical examinations and assist with routine tests and procedures
- Provide care and support for patients with a range of illnesses and conditions
- Help with wound care, including applying and changing dressings
- Provide basic first aid and emergency care under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor
- Educate patients on health issues and lifestyle changes, focusing on following established care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs, such as pulse, temperature, and blood pressure
- Assist with medication administration and treatments as directed by a registered nurse
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in nursing
- Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency)
- A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year
