Environmental Systems Professional

The opportunity to contribute to environmental projects across a Local Government area has arisen. This role offers the chance to develop skills, gain work experience, and pursue a degree in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, or Sustainability.

You will be part of a dynamic team working on environmental initiatives such as:

  • Coastal Management Programs
  • Emissions Reductions
  • Vegetation and Koala Mapping
  • Biosecurity and Natural Area Management
  • Environmental Assessment

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of Council's Environmental policies, plans, and projects

Support the Environmental Planning Team in reviewing biodiversity assessments

Support the Environmental Operations Team in delivering environmental restoration and rehabilitation works

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, or Sustainability is required. A passion for natural systems and environmental management is essential.
